- This bird box is designed to provide a comfortable home for robins and other birds such as flycatchers, wagtails and wrens that prefer an open fronted nest box.
- These bird nesting boxes are constructed from precision cut FSC certified wooden panels treated with water based environmentally friendly preservative.
As natural sites are becoming more scarce why not encourage birds to nest in your garden by providing them with comfortable bird nest boxes? Our open fronted box is ideal for the robin, recently voted the UKs favourite bird. It will also be used by other birds such as wagtails and wrens that prefer open bird boxes.
The box is constructed from precision cut FSC certified external grade plywood and has been treated with an environmentally friendly preservative which is kind to the birds but helps to ensure a long lasting dry comfortable nest box.

This product ships direct from our partner, The Nestbox Company. Most products will be made to order.
For single boxes <2kg we tend to use Royal Mail 48hr Tracked service. Most other orders are shipped with DHL with the exception of barn owl boxes. The barn owl boxes are sent with Parcelforce.
For large bulk orders and the large colony bat boxes they will likely be sent on a pallet.
Currently, this item can only be delivered within the UK.

Before we design any box we consider the requirements of the proposed inhabitants through reviews of published studies and consultation with experts in their field.
Combined with our experience of designing and manufacturing boxes and customer feedback we produce what we hope are boxes which offer the best accommodation for wildlife.

We started making nest boxes in 1996 based in a shed in Herefordshire. Since then, we’ve grown in size to become one of the largest producers of roost, nest, and wildlife boxes in the UK.
The Nestbox Company is run by father and sons; Peter, Tristan and Damian.
We manufacture our products in our own rural workshops, and combine modern production technology, with traditional hand finishing.
