These large bird boxes are approximately three times the size of a our small bird nest boxes and have been designed to provide nesting sites for a range of larger bird species which require a bigger bird nesting box. Depending on where you site it and the range of species present you may find it occupied by jackdaws, doves or pigeons. It’s also the ideal size for tree nesting ducks such as goosanders and goldeneye. Even mallards have been known to have nested in boxes in trees.
This versatile bird box which can house many of the larger garden birds comes with lift up lid for easy access for cleaning etc. and features a drained floor to ensure inhabitants stay warm and dry. These bird nesting boxes are constructed from precision cut FSC certified external grade plywood and have been treated with an environmentally friendly preservative which is kind to the birds but helps to ensure a long lasting dry and comfortable bird nesting box

This product ships direct from our partner, The Nestbox Company. Most products will be made to order.
For single boxes <2kg we tend to use Royal Mail 48hr Tracked service. Most other orders are shipped with DHL with the exception of barn owl boxes. The barn owl boxes are sent with Parcelforce.
For large bulk orders and the large colony bat boxes they will likely be sent on a pallet.
Currently, this item can only be delivered within the UK.

We started making nest boxes in 1996 based in a shed in Herefordshire. Since then, we’ve grown in size to become one of the largest producers of roost, nest, and wildlife boxes in the UK.
The Nestbox Company is run by father and sons; Peter, Tristan and Damian.
We manufacture our products in our own rural workshops, and combine modern production technology, with traditional hand finishing.
