"I bought this sponge thinking "I'll give it a go, probably won't last if it's compostable", but I was wrong.  It's lasted longer than those plastic sponges with the rough side.  It actually feels nice when using it too, it has a subtle suction to it when using it on dishes and it really soaks up a lot of water when wiping around.  Really impressed with it.  I do recommend a dish brush too as some really tough cooked-on bits need bristles to loosen it from the pan before using the sponge."
